Casement Aluminium Windows in Lahore

Casement aluminium windows (commonly referred to locally as “openable” windows) are side-hinged windows that swing outward or inward like a door when turned by a handle or crank.

In Lahore’s rapidly evolving construction landscape, they have become a highly preferred choice for modern homes, corporate offices, and commercial high-rises—offering a sleek aesthetic coupled with superior weather performance.

Key Benefits for Lahore Homes

• Maximum Ventilation: Unlike standard sliding windows (which always block at least 50% of the opening), casement windows open fully. This is perfect for capturing natural evening breezes during Lahore’s intense summer months.
• Superior Dust and Rain Sealing: Lahore experiences heavy monsoon rains and high dust levels (especially during smog season). Casement windows lock tightly against a rubber gasket around the frame, offering an exceptionally tight airtight seal that prevents dust, rain, and hot air from leaking indoors.
• Energy Efficiency: When combined with double-glazing, casement designs prevent your air conditioning from escaping, leading to noticeable savings on high summer electricity bills.
• Enhanced Security: The lock mechanism is embedded within the frame, making them significantly harder to pry open from the outside compared to sliding windows.

Cost Structure & Materials (2026 Estimates)

Aluminium windows are generally priced per square foot (sq. ft.) in Lahore. Because casement windows rely on complex hinges, friction stays, and multi-point locking systems, they are slightly more expensive than sliding profiles.

Window Quality Class	Estimated Price Range (PKR / sq. ft.)	Typical Specifications
Standard / Budget	PKR 2,100 – PKR 2,800	Single 5mm–6mm glass, lighter gauge profile (1.2mm–1.4mm).
Deluxe (Double Glazed)	PKR 2,800 – PKR 4,500	1.6mm–2.0mm gauge frame, double-glazed glass with air gap (essential for noise/heat insulation).
Premium Thermal Break	PKR 4,800 – PKR 7,500+	High-end imported or premium local profile with integrated polyamide strips to physically block heat transfer.

Major Contributing Cost Factors:

1. The Aluminium Gauge: Quality fabricators in Lahore use a 1.6mm to 2.0mm thickness for large casement windows to prevent them from rattling or bending under strong wind loads.
2. Glass Type: Options range from budget single-glazed glass to Double Glazing (e.g., 5mm glass + 12mm air gap + 5mm glass) and Tempered Glass for safety.
3. Finishing: Anodized silver is usually the base rate, whereas trendy finishes like Anthracite Grey, Charcoal, Matt Black, or Wood-Grain powder coatings add a slight premium.

Prominent Aluminium Brands & Hubs in Lahore

When procuring materials, contractors usually source raw aluminium profiles from reputable national brands known for their purity and finish:

• Prime Aluminium (highly regarded for premium anodizing and structural integrity)
• Chawla Aluminium (widely used, trusted across residential and commercial sectors)
• Pakistan Cables (known for durable high-purity architectural sections)

Where to look for Fabricators?

If you are managing the fabrication yourself, major retail and fabrication hubs in Lahore include Ferozepur Road, Johar Town, DHA/Wapda Town extensions, and Main Boulevard Gulberg. Premium specialized turnkey fabricators (like WINDOW CONCEPT, Fönster Partners, or Art Aluminium) will handle everything from site measurements and material sourcing to professional installation.

Pro-Tips for Buying in Lahore

⚠️ Watch out for the hardware: The hinges and handles take the entire weight of a swinging casement window. Never skimp on hardware. Ensure your fabricator uses high-quality stainless steel friction stays and multi-point locks, otherwise, the windows may sag over time.
